How does the composting toilet work?

The composting process begins with a balanced mix of nitrogen (human waste) and carbon (dry grass). Toilet paper, sanitary pads, and tampons can also be disposed of in the composting toilet.

Once the container in your cabin’s bathroom is full, its contents are transferred to the shared toilet compost chambers, where they undergo aerobic fermentation for at least 6 months. The result is rich compost that nourishes the soil and helps preserve the beauty of the natural environment.
